Little Break is a Calgary babysitting service. We find, check and train sitters, then match them with local families for date nights, sick days, PD days and the occasional full night of sleep.
Our story
Why we started Little Break
We know the feeling of scrolling through sitter listings at 10 pm, trying to guess who you can trust with your kids. Finding someone for a Saturday night was hard. Finding someone for a sick day, or a full night so we could actually sleep, felt close to impossible.
So we built the service we kept wishing existed. Every sitter is screened, trained and backed by a real team. Booking takes a couple of minutes. And if something comes up mid-sit, there's someone to call.
We want every Calgary parent to have someone they trust on speed dial.

Trust comes first
Sitters don't take a booking until they've passed checks and finished our training. No exceptions for a busy weekend.

Our sitters come ready to play. Screen time is a treat, not the plan.
